Puddle | mentions: Myshka | interacting with: Myshka | word count: 294
Puddle nodded at the other tom. "I'll go search the other side of the room, then," he replied, also keeping his voice down. He didn't quite understand why Myshka was whispering, but if it made him feel better, then Puddle would do it. He jumped down from the windowsill, landing quietly on soft paws, and trotted over to the other side of the room. Each step stirred up a thick layer of dust, and left a pawprint behind.
He watched the dust float up, and giggled, pouncing on it as it rose. When he grew bored of that, he continued on.
There was a large, old, dusty couch, and beside it sat a table. He jumped up, first onto the couch, and then to the table. Sitting in the middle of the table was a big glass dome, and in the middle was what looked to be a rose. He blinked, surprised that it still looked alive after all this time. None of the petals had fallen off, and it still had a healthy color.
Puddle felt a strong urge to knock it off the table, but the noise would probably startle Myshka. But how else was he gonna get the rose out?
"Hey, Myshka, I'm gonna knock this thing over so don't be scared when glass breaks, okay?" He warned, before nudging it off of the table. The glass shattered, breaking the stillness of the room for a moment, and Puddle flinched before jumping down to investigate. He picked his way through the glass shards and leaned down to sniff the rose.
"Oh! It's not a real rose! That's why it looks alive." He mumbled to himself, stepping out of the glass and going to investigate more of his side of the room.
[PUDDLE enters the room and sniffs around one side of the room, finding a fake rose and leaving it. He goes to INVESTIGATE some more.]

h god, thank gods, someone here knew what they were doing. A map! He couldn't believe he hadn't thought of getting one before. He listened to what the molly - Luna - said afterward, with somewhat dizzy relief. He also listened to her trailing off at the end as if she were unsure. That was okay, right? He absolutely had no idea what he was doing either. (This was the part of the conversation where he had to speak, right? Ah, couldn't be that bad. And if it was, he could just run to literally any other part of the city. It was so big, probably even the gods didn't know each alleyway.)" Hey, that's great! We should-or maybe just you because it's your map-head there, maybe? Or you could help those cats, over there, I don't think they have one. Or you could keep exploring, I don't know -- I'm closing my mouth before I embarrass myself more!" That went just as well as he expected. What was he thinking? This cat obviously had her life together, had some jewelry and a map, so she was probably only being nice to him out of pure, unadulterated pity. She did seem a little nervous at the end, like she was expecting him to get the wrong opinion about something. (She needn't worry. Subtle hints in normal, actual conversation were always lost in him - should he tell her that? Or would it be weird? Gods, running away was starting to look awful enticing right about now.) He pulled himself together and took a deep breath. " Sorry - what I mean is, what do you want to do?" ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

Essence grimaced as she found nothing, yet again. Why did this have to happen? It was either a bag or nothing, and she thoroughly hated it. Can't she find more of the stones she traded for? or maybe something else. something better. Whatever the case was, she seemed to have terrible luck. She bristled as she walked down the alley, looking for SOMETHING. Damn, if only her brain wasn't wired to need to do something. Couldn't she just have stayed in the straight road, keeping out of this dark and desolate place? No, she had to be doing something. Had to need to see places she hasn't seen before. It's as if she couldn't stay in one location for more then five minutes. Sometimes she couldn't stand her incessant need to explore, other times it suited her. Like when she had to get out of the house, she explained to her dad that she was like a bird, she needed to fly.

LUNA In my head, I play a supercut of us All the magic we gave off All the love we had and lost And in my head
The visions never stop Luna listened intently to Phineas stumble over his words. She gave him a worried look. Was the tom okay? He didn’t seem to be taking care of himself, from the look of his fur…
She fidgeted with her newfound pendant. She really wanted to keep it. And, well, even though this Phineas didn’t seem like the type to steal, who knew if he wanted it as well?
Putting her paw down, the molly focused on the tom again. Giving him a small smile as he finally managed to pull himself together, the molly answered his queries.
“Well, I think I am planning on exploring some of these buildings. I lost my bag a while ago and am in need of a new one,” she said, looking at the ground sheepishly. ‘Lost’ was one way to describe it. Someone had stolen it a while back, leading to an exhausting chase around a city. “You could come with me? Who knows what we’ll find here!” The molly grabbed the map in her jaws, before turning towards a building on the side of the street, looking back at the young tom.
LUNA grabs the MAP.
LUNA talks to PHINEAS.

Myshka|| Mentions: Puddle || Interacting with: Puddle
Words: 481
After he heard speak on where he was going, Myshka continued on his own. He carefully circled the different pieces of furniture, crawling under a table and anything else he could fit himself under. Each movement forced another layer of dust to rise from the ground, it danced in the air, swirling with gentle movements as it reached the light that shone in through the small window the two cats had entered. The dust tickled his nose and stung his eyes as it pulled a small sneeze from his mouth. He was beginning to regret entering the room, though he wasn’t going to voice his complaints. It was as he was beginning to lose hope about finding anything in the room that he actually found something. A small brown piece of fabric caught his eyes. It peaked out from beneath one of the chairs that he had only glanced over at first.
He jogged over to the old chair, tugging the bag out from under the chair. He nosed it open and fell back into a sneezing fit as dust followed him. Myshka shook his head, paw rubbing the itch from his nose as he peered into the bag. There sat an odd array of berries, each one seeming to be freshly picked and colored such an odd color that the young cat was unable to decipher what they might be. He supposed he could try one as a test, but the idea of eating one of these strange berries from an even stranger place was rather off putting. So instead, Myshka closed the bag and carefully placed it on top of the chair he found it, he made a mental note to come back for it when they left.
Continuing on with his search, Puddle’s voice rang clear from the other side of the room. It had startled Myshka, the interruption to the quiet he had already gotten use to should have been expected though. He gave a short nod of affirmation, however, bracing himself for the crack of shattering glass. The noise made him flinch, but he was thankful for the warning beforehand. He glanced around the room a bit more, not finding anything of interest until his eyes fell upon a door. It was slightly ajar, he should be able to push it open if he tried. He repeated what Puddle had done with the old window, and managed to fit his head between the crack and pushed outward. It led to another room, about the same as the first, though this one appeared to be slightly bigger. There didn’t seem to be any other doors, so this would probably be the last thing they searched before leaving.
“I’ll look in here next,” Myshka poked his head back into the first room, raising his voice just enough so that Puddle could hear him, and then got to searching.
[Myshka finds a bag with berries in it and then goes to search another room of the building.]

There are thieves, who rob us blind and kings, who kill us fine
but steady, the rights and the wrongs. invade us, in innocent song King only half listened as the new cat with the mask continued to ramble on about what was happening and how survival seemed dim. Good, it needs to stay that way. If I'm dead, my kingdom won't ever find me. He thought darkly with a distant expression on his face. Shaking his head he over heard Miki speak up about finding a map. Well that should come in handy, but his ears quickly flattened when he heard the guy with the mask mention it as a trap. A trap? To him it didn't seem as though it would be a trap, if anything a guide to their next destination. Everything happened for a reason and this gate wouldn't just open for them to die right away. If anything the gods would want to torture us before we died. He felt the brush of fur as he looked over towards Wildcard, the molly thief from before. King had noticed the certain looks she had been getting and it clearly didn't surprise him. Don't steal from others because they won't like that... then they wont like you. He thought with a tired look on his face. Geez, doesn't she understand personal space. He thought but of course, the tom did not move as he didn't want to upset her. I don't need some crying child to babysit. "Lets still look around in the surrounding buildings while we head to the dome. We might find some more objects." He stated, lifting his paw to his glass pendant. He played with it between his paws as the others seemed to causually walk around looking for objects of their own. King had what he wanted and it was his and his alone. In the distance, he caught sight of another tiny bag like before with a pocket full of berries. He curiously picked them up and place it with the other bag he had. Things were definitely becoming cluttered around his neck so he removed the small bags and placed them behind his gauntlet out of view. His attention struck when the molly, Esscense introduced herself and requested everyone else's names. He knew Kaia's and Wildcard's, but everyone else didn't have the time to introduce themselves. "King, the name's King." He sighed from the back. His face was hidden behind a stoic expression but he was proud of his nickname in a way. His old group of friends had given it to him. He watched carefully as another molly, great, had found the group and was now trading items with Esscence. Interesting, but King wasn't sure if he wanted to give up any of his items for someone else's. No one will EVER touch HIS pendant necklance. He clutched the necklace in his paws, claws sealed around it to protect it from prying paws. Thiefs, they're all willing to take what's rightfully his. His mind drifted off in thought as he played with the pendant necklace around his neck, the sounds around him becoming blank noise as he hyperfocused in on his newly found object. Broken by his spell by Kaia speaking up to Essence. He sighed, turning to the keeper of the map. "Alright our lovely guide, lead the way." He said with blank tired blue eyes.

ou could come with me? Who knows what we’ll find here!” Phineas blinked at the molly’s response, and then at the building Luna was referring to. “ Uh..alright! Sounds good!” He figured he could have worded that better ( maybe he should have said “Thank you for asking me to join you” or “Yeah! I’d like that” instead), but first and foremost he was relieved. Relieved that she had invited him to follow along, but mostly relieved that she didn’t comment on his mess of words and that she let him pick up the shredded scraps of his dignity. Even as he stared up at the building, which was a gorgeous piece of architecture and plated with gold like the rest of the city, it didn’t escape his notice that Luna was holding her pendant closer to herself, although he didn’t know what that meant. “ All right..should we go in?” Phineas asked. (Did he say alright twice?) As he awaited the molly’s response he was already glancing around, looking for some god's trash that could become his treasure. ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

I'm out for blood Vandi continued her way down the dark street with hardly any expression on her face, maybe there was a reason for why she was even bothering to look for stupid items like maps. She almost snorted in amusement to herself, almost dropping the map from her maw. The tortie probably wouldn’t have brought the map with her but it allowed her to find the dome faster so she had no choice. One thing that she was grateful for was the lack of annoying felines pestering her with questions and queries and if that happened?? There would be no doubt that her pelt would be stained with their blood, or if they were lucky maybe she would just knock them out. Throughout growing up, the only cats she really could work with was Lilith and Eros and that was because she grew up with one and the other she trained herself. Not surprising.
Calloused paw pads pattered against the hard, cold stone ground as the slender molly slinked around. Her gaze flickered onto a small open window and she trotted over to it. Standing directly below the window, she bunched her muscles together and leapt upwards. Claws reaching out to grip onto the window ledge, throwing the map into the small house, she pulled herself up and jumped back down into the darkened home. Remembering to pick up the map, Vandi scanned the home with sharp eyes. She wasn’t impressed but then again, she never was. There were countertops which appeared to be covered in grime and Vandi made sure to not go anywhere near them. There was a wall of white tiles which had some black substance splattered on them causing her to raise her brow in amusement. On the floor, there was some smashed porcelain kitchenware scattered across the floor. Cupboard doors left open and some of the doors appeared to be slanted as if they would break from a single nudge. To say this place was a mess might be an understatement but Vandi made sure to dodge the sharp bits of yellow-tinted kitchenware and into the next room.
This room wasn’t any better. Windows covered in more grime, paint peeling off the walls and mould forming in corners. Vandi hummed in response as she scanned the room which she just entered. Nothing really caught her eye until she noticed something gleam in the soft light coming through one of the grime-covered windows. Crossing the small distance of the doorway to the white seating, though it was more of a yellow from the amount of dirt it seemed to have collected. Jumping up, her eyes widened slightly at what she had found. It was a strange item and it took her a while to figure it out but it was beautiful. The gold really caught her eye as she analysed it silently. From what she would tell, it was a necklace of some sort?? With wings?? Odd. Dropping the map gently down beside her, she reached a forepaw out to move it. As soon as her paw came into contact with the item she was overcome by a wave of sadness which was strange, Vandi had good control over her emotions so why was this happening??
Nothing exactly came to mind due to this sadness yet she vaguely remembered finding Eros’ dead body sprawled across a stone as if he was nothing but decoration. Lilith’s disappointed face when she returned that morning after burying the young tom, shaking her head at her failure.
She had failed.
Failure.
Snapping out of whatever sad cloud that she was caught up in, she gripped the winged necklace in her maw and launched it across the room with a newfound surge of rage. Watching as it clattered to the ground, she was slightly satisfied but her breathing was heavy as she tried to calm herself down. Staring at the necklace that now lay on the ground, she swallowed heavily, brow furrowed in confusion. “What the fuck was that??”
Maybe it was cursed?? God, Vandi hoped not, she managed to spend the last three years staying away from any curses that Lilith had told her of. Perhaps Eros’ murder was the start of this curse and if that was the case then she’d been cursed for at least a year. Forgetting about the map for a moment, she moved towards the necklace but more cautiously now as she stared down at the necklace. Touching the necklace, it didn’t do much anymore and maybe her throwing it had removed whatever curse it was under. Thank the stars. Crouching down, she slipped the necklace onto her neck and moved back to grab the map, firmly placing it in between her jaws. Vandi was obviously going to take the necklace, it was gold and could probably get her some good money for that or trade it for a good weapon. Nonetheless, she wasn’t going to leave an expensive item in a disgusting abandoned home. Turning to leave, Vandi considered going up the stairs to explore more but she wasn’t looking for more trouble so she turned back into the small kitchen. Leaping up onto a cracked wooden table and then out the window with such ease that it gave Vandi a minute to cackle in silence.
“Fucking stupid ass curses.”
Vandi is 100% certain that she is cursed. ♡

Wildcard @king @kaia @f @ the rest of the gang
Wildcard followed King into a building and decided to have a look around. She didn’t seem to find much, just some dust and cobwebs. She noticed King looked a bit agitated, and decided it would be best to go off on her own, for now. She left the building, and walked off on her own after taking a look at the map to the dome one of her group members was holding. She didn’t need anyone else. She hadn’t before, and she wouldn’t need anyone now. For a moment, a sudden feeling of loneliness overcame her, but she shook it off. She didn’t need friends. She remembered the strange crystal necklace from before, and took a long look at it. It was beautiful, more beautiful than anything she’d ever seen before. She put it on experimentally, and then a wave of security washed over her. She felt powerful. For the first time in her life, she felt powerful. She grinned. “I don’t need friends.”

IT'S WHAT YOU FEEL BUT CAN'T ARTICULATE OUT LOUD
He hummed curiously as little masked tom spoke up once again. Something about a trap? How cute.
"You may be right about that," Miki quipped, with an amused smile on his face. "But, to prove it, we will just have to wait and see." Before he could proceed any further, the other new arrival had spoken, reminding him of basic formalities. Ah. He did not introduce himself.
As soon as they introduced themselves, their little names had ingrained themselves into his mind. Essence, the cloaked, unmasked cat, who he found rather boring. King, the attractive one - a cat he would not mind sticking to, no matter how irritated his expression was twisting into. Kaia, the cat 'Essence' happened to know. The masked cats remained nameless, which was fine. It provided a little mystery for him to solve, even thought it would be much simpler to ask directly.
"If you insist in introductions," he began, "you may call me M."
It did not take long for the group to disperse, leaving behind the three toms gathered around the little map. Chit chat was over. It was time to continue on their way to the Dome.
Miki snickered at King's tired comment, nonchalantly swiping his tail on both of his companion's faces as he padded forward. "Alright, King, masked child, let us proceed."
In the meanwhile, he looked around for anything else special, but found nothing once again.

F couldn't find anything more, and no one else was having any luck. Maybe the alleyway between the building will have something?. A few more cats joined them, and introduced themselves. The bow-tied cat with the map said he was...."M". F narrowed his eyes. So he doesn't like sharing info, either. It would be immensely confusing to have two cats with a simple letter for their name. Dammit. It looks like he might have to share his full name--the only piece of information on his past he knew.
As he opened his mouth, he felt the words catch in his throat. It was habit, he guessed, warning against it--he had gone the past month or so telling absolutely no one his true name. He could make another up...but how long before he slipped, or forgot it? Besides, was there really a point in hiding his name anymore? "Bringer of destruction", a voice seemed to snap through his brain, "That is what I name you for. A harbinger...and an offering.". The pain was immense, enough to bring him to his knees. It was like something had broken into his mind...a memory? A slow pounding was beginning to build at the base of his head.
The pain cleared enough for him to see the other looking at him with concern or suspicion. "It's...just a headache," he explained through gritted teeth. "You wanted my name, right?...It is Fenris."

- - words: 154 | You choose a street to go down. While exploring, while finding items that aren’t yours, while socializing with those that came with you, you feel like you’re being watched. What is it? You are just looking around, looking for the Dome, looking in general, looking for whatever is watching you. The air only hangs heavier. Soft whispers, the air cooler or warmer in some places, paw prints much larger than yours in the dust ahead of you… You fear that something is in your midst that you may not want to meet. You continue exploring… maybe you’ll find something nice you’ll want to keep. Perhaps it’ll ease the feeling off your back. Afterall, it’s unlikely someone is still alive and in the city, right?
Blue eyes watch you carefully. Maybe they are judging you for stealing a dead man’s inventory. Maybe they are waiting for you. Maybe they are urging you to move along.

Wildcard continued down the straight path, staying away from others as she went. She didn’t need anyone. She could make her own way in the world now. Anyone who got in her way would be sorry, one way or another. Suddenly she stopped. She felt she was being watched. And when she felt she was being watched, she was never wrong. She looked around the area, scanning for the source of the feeling- but saw nothing. She shrugged it off and continued forward, albeit much more wary of her surroundings now.
After a few minutes of walking, she came to a very secluded area- and stopped dead in her tracks. A single massive pawprint lay marked in the dust ahead of her. She cautiously made her way over to it, awed at the sheer size. Whatever made this must have been massive. A shiver ran up her spine. She had a sudden feeling of dread. Whatever had made the footprint- she didn’t envy the one who met it first, and prayed that it wouldn’t be her. She continued forward quickly, making sure to take note of EVERYTHING around her.

165 words i wrote you a love letter but I realized this note would suffice. ► Usagi didn’t expect to find anyone else in the dark street and she kind of didn’t want to. She felt a bit protective of the cold air and shadows. However, when she saw something move in the shadows, she wished there was someone with her.
The molly glanced around, eyes wide as she felt her fur rise, completely on edge. Who was here? Would they be a danger to her? Would they steal something? Her white tail switched back and forth with her unease.
She slowly took steps forward, one ear pressed as far forward as it could go and the other swiveled back. She jumped as she watched a black figure hop out of a window. She issued a startled yelp and leapt backwards as she heard the figure speak.
“Fucking stupid ass curses.”
Huh?
Usagi gasped for breath and pulled herself to her full height. “Curses?” She asked, confused now. Surely there wasn’t anything that was cursing them, right? That sounded absolutely absurd.

I'm out for blood She physically flinched when a startled shriek entered her large rounded ears causing her to flatten them to try to drown the shriek out. Vandi had not been expecting that and it took her a moment to let her heart stop thundering against her chest and regain herself. The sleek molly turned towards the blue and white feline as she looked her up and down, analysing her every move in case she wanted to attack her. This cat was large but Vandi wasn’t intimidated by her, she hardly ever was. Vandi dropped the map to her paws, slowly shifting it so her forepaws were in front, she didn’t want this stranger to know where she was going. Plus, it would be absolutely funny if she managed to get lost.
Humming in response, she narrowed her eyes slightly. Did this cat not know what a curse was?? Was she that dense?? Nonetheless, Vandi smirked towards the stranger, baring her fangs in the process. “Careful deary, You don’t know what might jump out to frighten you.” She cackled lightly though her fur was still standing, it was odd. She felt as if someone was watching her and if that didn’t piss her off then she didn’t know what would.
Remembering what the blue molly had said after Vandi had unintentionally scared her. “Yep!! Pretty sure this baby here.” The tortie paused, lifting a forepaw to graze it over the golden circlet that was now being worn on her neck. “Is cursed.” She grinned maniacally as if she was completely insane. “No worries though! I’m sure some sorry sucker will take it off my paws in exchange for some sweet sweet goods.”

Wildcard decided that continuing forward would be a bad idea. She instead headed to the northeast road, still on her own. “I don’t need anyone, I don’t need protection, I AM my own protection, I don’t need anyone...” she muttered to herself, over and over again. She was terrified. That paw print was engrained in her mind. She shook her head in an attempt to clear it, but her thoughts seemed to be clouded. She ran her head into a wall, over and over again. “Why won’t it stop why won’t it stop whywontitstopwhywontitstop” She smashed her head into the wall again. Paranoia was slowly rising. “WHY WON’T IT STOP-“ She slowly collapsed onto the ground, shaking. Her eyes tested up, and no matter how much she willed it not to happen, she started to cry. The power she’d felt earlier seemed to dissipate. She felt weak. Alone. Abandoned. A small trail of crimson blood trickled down one side of her face. She’d managed to make herself bleed. But she didn’t care. The pain helped her head stay someone clear, but her thoughts were still hazy. “Why won’t it stop...?” She whispered, quietly.

There will come a poet Kaia nodded in understanding to Essence. She hadn't meant to cause any upset. All of this was just so new and Kaia was a mixture of excited and nervous. She watched Essence head down a dark street and opted to follow behind her, poking her head into anything that caught her attention.
She was nearly pouting, having not found anything of interest. Jumping up onto some boxes, Kaia looked around. Her eyes narrowed when she spotted some paw prints in the dust. Carefully she leapt from the rickety boxes onto the ground and then approached the paw prints. A shudder ran down her spine, fur fluffing up involuntarily. The prints were far too large to be any cat she'd met so far.
Kaia looked around, feeling uneasy suddenly on the dark street. She shook herself off and broke off at a sprint to catch up to a cat, any cat. Her curiosity momentarily sated, she only desired to be with the group again.

216 words i wrote you a love letter but I realized this note would suffice. ► Usagi flicked her ears forward, gazing at the smaller cat, noting the rolling up paper behind her forepaws and then to the necklace. Pretty, but Usagi didn’t want to give up her choker, nor was she willing to steal. But you are, her mind supplied. Hush, she responded, covering her eye roll with her eyelids.
“Oh I know,” Usagi grinned. This little cat was an interesting character. She liked her. “But I’m pretty big. I’ve learned that my size typically means others are wary. Doesn’t mean I can’t get spooked though. Why were you jumping out of the window?” She tilted her head, glancing back at the building, trying to see where the door was. Those were normally easy to open, right? Even if they had the weird human doornob.
“I didn’t think anything would be cursed,” Usagi shrugged at the molly’s statement on the winged necklace. She liked trading, but she didn’t really have anything to give up. She’d like to hold onto her bag and feathers, thank you very much.
“It is pretty nice,” she nodded. “I hope you find someone to trade with. I’d request that molly with the akah and cape. She seemed like she had a bunch of bags on her person.” Usagi helpfully added, probably unknowingly endangering the poor cat.

"F"/Fenris || @ the gang, mentions @miki and @king
__________
F...no, Fenris. He was Fenris now, no point in hiding it--continued to keep an eye out for any items of use as they made their way towards the Dome. He scanned alleyways, the road ahead of him. Spotting an odd stone, he decided to pick it up. It gave an oddly calming feeling. Strange.... Unsure whether to be unnerved by the sense of peace or comforted, he slipped into his cloak along with the glowing coin of power.
His pelt began to prickle as he walked. He felt a...presence. Like he was being watched. "The harbinger...offering...". Now that he could remember those hints into his past, the words kept circling around his head. The feeling of dread that had been building in him the past month was ready to explode. I should never have come here! he cried internally, I should have known...I should have remembered... But there was so much he should be able to remember, yet he couldn't. Sighing in frustration, he closed his eyes to keep back the migraine pressing at the back of his head. There was not much he could do about it now.
It was then he noticed the air around him get suddenly colder. Looking down, he saw his paw had stepped into a pile of dust...right into the center of a huge paw.
Stumbled backwards, his yellow gaze scanned the area slowly, intensely trying to discern where the paw could have come from. So someone is here. And it was likely a god. What other being could turn invisible, or whatever the hell kind of magic they were pulling?
All his instincts were telling him to run. But there was nowhere to run. It was already too late.
The wind seemed to whisper...
..."We've been expecting you....

Arsha GalaShire Is someone here? Who's watching us? Why is it that it's harder to breath? The molly felt off, uncertainty plaguing her mind. Though her ears kept twitching to a sound on the opposite side of the street she was on, she urged her other senses to heighten. "Why won't it stop, why won't it stop, why won't it stop . . ." I'm not the only one losing my mind then. She turned away from Vega, but paused. "I'm not leaving you too soon, Vega. I want to make sure this cat is alright." She explained very quickly, words falling out as her paws were already in motion.Pressing off from her hind legs she ran down the street, wind battling against her fur as she rushed to the, seemingly endangered, cat. A cat of the redish hue with a cream underbelly, a silver mask. Arsha had noted, she was hesitant. When was she ever hesitant in interactions? Never but for how uneasy she felt she couldn't help but be cautious of everything now, "Everything alright, dear?" The molly asked, tone twisting into concern and worry. She eyed the blood that lined their fur, it rolled off their cheek and onto the ground. Though it was liquid it wasn't like water. Thicker and sticky to the touch, though she didn't touch the blood she knew what it felt like, what it tasted like, she could care less but she knew that this cat could be causing some sort of brain damage to her own self and that would be fatal in their decision making skills. She immediately sat down, tail was lose to her side -not a care in the world anymore- I'm not with my parents.

There will come a poet
Kaia hugged the stone wall, her pelt brushing against it. Suddenly being out in the open made her uneasy, especially after finding the giant paw print. Sunlight was breaking through various windows above her but hardly any of the light seemed to reach the ground. She jumped, startled by a scrap of wood that touched her paw. With a small growl of frustration, she pushed it aside, her tail lashing momentarily. She took in a few deep breaths and then jumped up onto some boxes, trying to get a better view of the street.
Her ears pricked forward, Kaia struggled to decide if anyone was nearby. Her eyes flicked over obstacles before she spotted some movement. Hopeful, Kaia jumped from the boxes and ran towards them. She slowed down, recalling how Essence had reacted when she nearly tackled her.
It was two cats she hadn't previously met, but at this point, Kaia simply didn't want to be alone.
"Hi, um… can I join you? This streets really dark." she stated the obvious with a rueful grin, but still kept some distance between her and the strangers.

Wildcard @ Arsha
Wildcard violently ripped off the crystal necklace she was wearing, and her thoughts started to clear. She ignored Arsha for a few moments, possibly because she didn’t even realize she was there. “... It’s cursed.” She realized, staring at it. “It’s cursed, and I’m AN IDIOT.” And then she finally noticed Arsha. “... Oh. Hello. You seem... familiar? I think I met you a few weeks ago.” Wildcard stated, trying to put her usual act together, but failing, as another wave of emotion washed over her. She had to force herself not to cry. “... I’ll be fine. I think, anyways. I... I don’t know what to do, I suppose...” her tone revealed parts of what she was feeling- confusion, loneliness, sadness, a hint of anger- she seemed to be extremely conflicted. No matter how much I tell myself I’ll be fine alone... I need a friend. I can’t be by myself forever. Maybe it’s time for a change. She started to calm down as she thought to herself. “... The bar. We met in the bar. I showed you some of my magic tricks. -Arsha, was it?” She seemed to be slowly regaining her composure. She put a paw to her head and winced- the pain was still there. “I’m sorry you had to see me like this. I don’t know what happened to me-“ While she says this, she notices a small piece of paper on the ground and picks it up. a map.

"F"/Fenris || mentions @miki and @king , he's leaving y'all ha
__________
There was no way Fenris was going to go up against a god with only a stone of peace and a damned glow-in-the-dark coin. "I'm going to head down another street, see if I can find anything else," He said to M and King. "I'll meet you up at the Dome. I should be able to find it from this way," nodding his head towards an alleyway that lead to the dark street from before, Fenris decided to take his chances at it. Maybe he could try the northeastern street from there.
As he walked down the dark road, fur pressing against the gilded wall, he noticed another flash of metal in the corner of his eye. Pausing to look over, he noticed an armored leg piece. His heart raced a few beats. This is perfect!. He felt much better with some armor on his side. Going over to it, he slowly clipped it over his shoulder. It reached down from there to a bit below his chest on his upper arm. Gilded, silvery and with decorative swirls, it was absolutely gorgeous. But that wasn't the point--it was also protective, and Fenris was liking the lightness it brought to his paws, like he could run on air. Taking a few steps, he bounced a little, as if gravity didn't exist for him. After testing out walking, he went on full running. Just as he thought, due to the lightness the shoulder armor gave him, he could run quicker and easier then before.
But he couldn't get too emboldened by his findings. Fenris still had to find the dome--and there was still the feeling of being watched creeping up on him...
Deciding to turn down another alleyway to enter the northeastern pathway, he kept his guard up. Anger was beginning to boil in his stomach. Letting loose a bitter laugh, he said, "What kind of gods would need to hide themselves from mere mortals such as us...?"

"It comes and goes in waves it always does." A slight disturbance in the dim light caught the female's attention. Her gaze focused on the thing and she took a few steps forwards. A little bag? Interesting. Slowly touching it she took it off the ground and placed it in front of her paws. Opening it up with her maw her eyes recognized a couple of berries. Interesting, how could those still not be rotten? This place obviously possesses some sort of magic. She determined after closing the little bag again. Her audit lightly flicked as a voice from behind caught her attention, cold blue eyes met golden ones as an interesting looking female approached. She gracefully walked up to her while smiling slightly, it didn't really reach her eyes though. this is going to be fun. Still a slight unease settled inside the molly, she felt like she was being watched. And her instinct was usually not off, her past had taken care of that. The fact she was still alive proved that there was something around here, something dangerous. That's when she noticed the big footsteps still not letting out any expression the female, however, turned to the stranger. A toothy grin lined her otherwise graceful features causing a contrast between them, "I suppose so.. I just found these berries, which is quite strange since the gates haven't been open in ages. They should've been rotten already." Lifting the little pouch with berries for emphasis while she resist to flinch when the strange female lightly brushed Rayah's side with her banner. Edging closer to the unnamed brown molly she noticed another set of huge footprints in the little street. "I find that an interesting offer, if beasts leaving these kinds of footprints are prancing around here." Flicking her tail towards the prints she spotted, still not being able to shake the feeling that something was watching her, something different. A light snicker passed her throat with the words savior she'd never needed one, needing someone else was weak. Needing Arsha is weak. The molly realized while following the pretty female down the street. "Anyways I don't really need a babysitter, I can care for myself. But even I can't deny that two minds think quicker than one. I am Rayah by the way if you cared to know." Confidence marked her features while she held her head high, watchful blue eyes searching for other strange items that might line the streets. Her reddish pelt shining in the dim light while she passed the other molly. Something like frustration came in waves from the spot she was, her skin lightly tingling at the feeling of it Rayah took a deep breath. Not wanting to pick up on the emotion. She let it slide off her, nothing in her stance and body language even let out any sign that the molly even felt things. It'd been beaten into her, making it her second nature to not show anything. Not show what you were thinking, not show what you felt because that were things that others could use against you. WORDS: 451 TAGGED: Rosy || Valkyrie SUMMARY: Rayah follows Valkyrie further down the street realizing it's handy to band up together. She gets a little uneasy because of having the feeling that something's watching her and she proceeds to search for more weird stuff like the berries. She's slightly interested in the brown molly since she seems to be kind of a loner like herself.

KSENJIA This is the Start of How it All Ends
Ksenjia walked back the way she came, eyes skipping across the few doorways she saw, until they fell across a door, half-ajar, with what seemed to be the promise of something useful. She slipped inside, paws quiet.
Inside were perhaps a half-dozen boxes, with an assortment of use. She descended on the closest of them, rifling through it with discerning eyes. Though a few of the trinkets within seemed interesting, none seemed at all useful. She pulled away from the box, moving to another.
At first, this one seemed the same- a collection of useless trinkets and items too esoteric to bother to take with. But her paw connected with a golden brace near the bottom, and the same strange calm that the rocks had given flowed through her. She frowned, pulling out the item.
It wasn't a rock, at least. The calm-safe-wrong feeling it emitted still sent her fur on end, but it was less... obnoxious than the rocks, maybe. She stared at the brace for a long moment, deliberating. Perhaps a bit of stability would be okay? After all, she was well aware of the effect, and a bit of calm in her bones was no big deal when one had been trained to be alert at all times.
She examined the piece, reasoning that it was probably meant to go around the tail- not an option, with the golden snake that coiled about it in present. Narrowing her eyes, she considered where else the brace could fit. She was... rather certain it could fit around her paw, with a little finesse.
So the bracer was fitted about her front paw, Ksenjia pressing down the half-muffled unease that came in response to the soft feeling of safety that flowed through it. It wasn't as bad as the rocks, she thought, and if every item felt like this, she would just have to deal.
Ksenjia turned to the rest of the boxes, and continued to search.

I'm out for blood Vandi scoffed, mostly to herself anyway. Nodding slowly before fidgeting with the rolled-up map which was now pressed up against her belly. She rolled it back and forth absentmindedly for a moment. She’d seen cats bigger than her get scared by a simple drop of blood but she didn’t mention it out loud. Though the question got her to turn her gaze over to the window that she just launched herself out of. Blinking at it for a minute, she turned back to the blue molly. “Windows are quicker to get out of,” Vandi replied quickly, she wasn’t going to mention that she didn’t know how to open a door and that she mostly used windows to get out of a room when she committed a crime. Lilith didn’t like doors so their small hut didn’t have doors, hm.
“Aye, but you can’t be too sure in a place like this.” Vandi licked her lips in amusement. Vandi was certain it was cursed yet she still wore it because why wouldn’t she?? It was pretty and it probably made her look powerful. Though she grinned at the strangers next words. “It does look nice, doesn’t it??” The tortie’s silky white whiskers twitched slightly yet her eyes narrowed at the idea of more cats around, ew. Perhaps a good steal would be in order or something but Vandi wasn’t too sure, whatever she feels like doing when the time comes. Despite the idea of the necklace around her neck being cursed, it made her grin in a way that was anything but insane. A killer with a cursed item, perfect!!!
The sound of boxes being knocked around caused her ears to perk up and her attention to leave the stranger completely, watching the street like a hawk waiting for anyone to jump out at her. Though she wasn’t impressed when another cat came running over as if she was afraid of her own shadow. Throwing her head back with a bark of laughter, she turned to the map and began rolling it around again as her sharp gaze squinted at the new cat. “No, you may not join us.” Vandi hummed, a joke but whether or not the cream stranger got the joke was the question. “Well no shit, this is the darkest street here. What did you expect??”

Fenris || @no one || {INVENTORY| Glowing Coin | Strange Stone | Leg Armor }
__________
It was looking like Fenris wasn't going to find much more then what he had. Time was running out--he didn't have all day. He had to get to the Dome. All the while, as he walked down the northeastern street, his paws echoing off the golden houses, the creeping feeling of eyes made his pelt prickle still...
After a while of this, watching the pawsteps swirl into the dust in front of him, hearing the whispered laughter bouncing off the gilded walls, feeling the temperature either drop down or heat up in the air around him, Fenris had had enough. Stopping abruptly, he cast his glaring yellow eyes around the area. "Who's there?" He called out, voice echoing in the empty air. Growling, he added, "I know what you are--if you truly are gods, show yourselves! Stop creeping around in the shadows like cowards!"
No response. "Typical," he sniffed. "You're an all powerful, immortal deity, and you won't even have the decency of killing us off in person." With that, he stalked off towards the Dome, tail lashing behind him.

Valkyrie ☆ Group N/A ☆ Lvl N/A ☆
After her multiple failed attempts at locating something, anything, in the city Valkyrie was starting to view as just a means to deterrer, the tabby had finally found something. Hidden among some crawling vines beside another building's wall was a bag; and after some small inspection the molly came to the conclusion there was something inside it."I suppose so.. I just found these berries, which is quite strange since the gates haven't been open in ages. They should've been rotten already."
Kyrie flashed her eyes back in the direction of Rayah, noticing the other female had finally made a move. She squinted slightly against the blinding surroundings to make sure her sight was correct; Rayah had found a bag of berries too, much like the ones she had just discovered. Interesting, things could be hidden in duplicates? "Perhaps some magic has been left alive in the city," the large Savannah Coon mused the idea of some left over gods having spouting their powers over the closed off city while she slipped her own bag over her head an onto her back. It would only make sense for remnants to be left behind in that case. Shit, she should've studied that back at home!
Valkyrie's eyes lifted out of her thinking mindset when Rayah mentioned something of beasts and footprints. Casting her gaze downwards at the street it was hard to miss them, but a feeling of unconcern filled her belly. She wasn't frightened of some beast lurking around these streets; if anything they would serve as a means to provide an example for these kittens she wasn't to be taunted. "Babysitter? Oh darling, don't cut yourself back so much. Your confidence will get wounded and it would be a shame for such a lovely looking thing like yourself to not have confidence matching as such!" it was hard for Kyrie to resist the urge of building up Rayah's confidence, for a part of her pitied anyone of beauty who gave themselves lacking credit. Slipping back over to Rayah's side, the large tabby smiled softly, her body language relaxed in comparison a couple moments ago before her own bag discovery. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Rayah. Not often do I come across such felines that can carry a name as unique as that. You can call me Valkyrie; or Kyrie if you dare so wish."
With formalities out of the way Valkyrie gave another simple smile to Rayah before moving ahead down the darkened street once more in search of more goodies, reassured the molly would stay close by. Despite her own cool aura surrounding herself, Valkyrie couldn't shake the sense of being watched, and deep under her fur her frame tensed in preparation in case they did come across something.
"So, what are you in search for with these god made trials?" Valkyrie questioned lightly, keeping her intense interest out of her voice as to not chase off her new little friend. If they were going to be a team for the time being, she wanted to know this Rayah a bit more. VEGA -- powergroup lvl He felt slightly off, like something was watching them, and then he noticed a cat banging their head against a wall, as well as Arsha noticing them. "Perhaps we'll meet again," he said as she went over to the other cat. So he got his map out and looked at it, it seemed to lead towards the Dome. Huh. Perhaps he’d head there next, with that decided he carefully placed his map back in his bag and made a decision. Which road to take? And his eyes fell onto the dark street, along te road, along the walls. And so that was the path he took. As he walked he searched to see if there was anything he could find along the way, which so far was nothing he could take, sticking close to the walls, almost blending in with the shadows except for his right paw, which was white. He intended to stay by himself unless another cat came up to him. At least until the Dome. WORDS 168 words | TAGGED ARSHA

LUNA In my head, I play a supercut of us All the magic we gave off All the love we had and lost And in my head
The visions never stop Luna nodded at the toms acceptance before turning towards the building. Her eyes wandered to the street. Were those...pawprints? They were rather large, and they looked fairly recent. Wasn’t the city supposed to be empty? A chill ran down Lunas spine. She tried to remain calm, but with the eerie feelings she was getting from this place, it was hard.
The molly blinked her dark blue eyes at Phineas’ voice. It took a moment for his words to register. Dropping the map, she spoke.
“Oh, er, yes, we should go in.” The molly tried as best she could to hide the quake in her voice. Picking up the map in her jaws once more, she padded into the building. Gods, she was really on edge. The feeling of being watched hung over her. The molly tucked her newfound pendant into her cloak. Her ears twitched at every movement that Phineas made.
Luna shook her head. This was ridiculous. She was here to explore, not to be paranoid! Plus, exploring would ward away those stupid feelings anway. The molly padded further into the building, investigating it.
LUNA investigates the building.
LUNA talks to PHINEAS.
